Soon your adventure at Talpa Network will begin. Can you just walk into the building, what should you wear, and do you need to bring your own lunch? The information on this page will help you prepare for your very first working day!
We’re happy to have you! Talpa Network is a network of people, creators and brands. Together, we are more than our stories, channels, formats and familiar faces. We are a network where we share ideas, trust and energy. And above all, we believe in working together — because together, we achieve more.

During your first days and throughout the onboarding process, you’ll receive a lot of information. The information on this page will help you get off to a great start and prepare you well for your first working day.

We consider a safe and respectful working environment extremely important.
Our Code of Conduct outlines how we treat one another. We expect all colleagues to adhere to it.
Any questions? Please contact your manager or HR.
Code of Conduct
Coming by public transport? From Hilversum Central Station, a bus (line 1 or 121) departs every 15 minutes and will take you to the Schuttersweg stop in about 10 minutes. From there, it’s just a two-minute walk to Bergweg. Prefer a stroll? You can also enjoy a 20-minute walk through the centre of Hilversum to our office.
Coming by bike? We have plenty of space for (public transport) bikes right in front of the building.
Coming by car? If you live more than 8 km from the office, you’re allowed to park on our premises (next to, behind, or underneath the building). But you’ll need an access pass to enter. On your very first working day, you can park in a visitor space near the main entrance.

Normally, you enter the building using your access pass, but of course you won’t have one yet on your first day. Please report to the main entrance instead. Once you’ve given your name, security will know exactly that you’re the new colleague we’ve been expecting. They will make sure one of your new colleagues comes to bring you to your workspace.
On your first day, you will receive your access pass, which you can use to enter the building from then on.

You’re welcome to bring your own lunch (every department has a pantry with a fridge), but we also have a great company restaurant where a varied and extensive lunch is prepared fresh every day. The cost is €4.05 per lunch (card payments only), and you’re free to take whatever you like.
It’s also possible to order an evening meal if that better suits your shift. Do you have any allergies? Of course, we take those into account.
Feeling peckish? The company restaurant offers free fresh fruit every day, available to everyone. If you’re in the mood for something more substantial, you’ll find a vending machine with healthy meals in De Kroeg [our very own pub!). Prefer something a little less healthy? Each floor has vending machines stocked with cookies and chips.

That's easy. We don’t have one.
Come as you are and, most importantly, wear whatever makes you feel comfortable!
If you’re starting on a Tuesday or Thursday, we challenge you to bring your sportswear right away. Every Tuesday and Thursday you can join our boxing and bootcamp classes! We also have a gym in the building where you can work up a sweat 24/7 (and take a shower afterwards).
In addition, you can join a Yin Yoga session every other Tuesday and there's the possibility for a lunch meditation. A great moment of calm and relaxation, together with your colleagues.
Good to know: we regularly organise fun activities you can take part in such as pub quizzes, table tennis tournaments, workshops, seminars, and last year we even hosted a coffee raffle!
And every last Thursday of the month there’s a DoMiBo (Thursday afternoon drinks).
